Bromham Growers, established in 1996, was set up initially to wash, pack, market and distribute the produce of market gardeners based in the village of Bromham in Wiltshire – most of which was sent to Bristol Wholesale Market.
Since then, Bromham Growers has grown significantly to become one of the leading vegetable distributors in the U.K., most notably of bunched carrots, for which the Company has an enviable reputation.
Customers are now supplied with quality produce throughout the U.K., most of which still comes from farms in Bromham, but is supplemented, particularly out of season, by importing fresh produce to the U.K. from Europe.
Bromham Growers operates a nightly produce delivery service into all the U.K.’s leading wholesale markets, as well as supplying a number of food processors, retailers and other wholesale outlets. In addition, a number of the leading supermarket chains are currently being supplied with vegetables and at some stage every supermarket on the high street has been supplied by the Company.
In 2003, a high care, 'state of the art' prepping unit was opened which supplies a number of ready meal manufacturers, sandwich makers and catering companies with a range of prepared vegetables in the U.K.- all produced to customers’ specific requirements.
Bromham Growers operates from a well equipped, modern facility that meets all current requirements for food safety. All of our growers are accredited under the Assured Produce Scheme or its European equivalent and full traceability is provided on all produce.
